Standard flu vaccines available at Pardee Health Education Center

Standard flu vaccines will be available every Monday and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and every Wednesday and Friday at 3 p.m. at the Pardee Health Education Center, located in the Blue Ridge Mall.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states that by getting a flu vaccine, one can protect themselves from influenza as well as avoid spreading it to others.  This is an inactivated vaccine given by injection and is available to those who are 16 years of age or older.

The standard flu vaccine is $22 and may be purchased by cash, check, credit card or Traditional Medicare Part B.  Supplemental and private insurance will not be processed, but receipts will be issued for patient reimbursement submissions.

Veterans offered flu shots by Rural Health

Rural Health will provide flu vaccines for veterans at Pardee Community Health Center in Blue Ridge Mall in Hendersonville on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Free standard flu vaccine available for Veterans at Pardee Health Education Center

Standard flu vaccines will be available for Veterans Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Pardee Health Education Center, located in the Blue Ridge Mall.

Veterans of the U.S. Military who are registered with the VA Hospital are eligible to receive a standard flu vaccine, free of charge.  Veterans who do not have a VA Hospital card may complete the registration process at the Pardee Health Education Center that day.
